I began my career at Husch Blackwell before moving in-house as General Counsel and Investment Principal at KCRise Fund, where I worked closely with 50+ portfolio companies across sectors and stages.

At the $100M AUM seed-stage venture fund, I supported board matters, financings, strategic partnerships, and day-to-day legal decision-making alongside founders, executives, and directors.

The work blended legal, operational, and strategic responsibilities, which gave me a grounded view of how legal decisions fit into the broader rhythm of a growing business—requiring responsiveness, context, and coordination across stakeholders.
